Description

The role is a key member of the Bosch Home Comfort Global SAP ERP IT organization , responsible for delivering standardized, scalable, and compliant SAP Finance (Record-to-Report) solutions across a global ERP landscape. The role operates across SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments, supporting the evolution toward a harmonized global SAP S/4HANA platform. This position spans the end-to-end SAP application lifecycle —from design and implementation through optimization and operational support—working closely with business stakeholders, finance leadership, and global IT teams. As an SAP Finance (FICO) subject matter expert , the architect ensures robust solution design, global template alignment, and business–IT integration, supporting Bosch’s ongoing digital transformation and finance process excellence initiatives. Key Responsibilities Strategy & Conceptualization Partner with Finance Leadership and Business Process Owners to align SAP solutions with business strategy Identify process improvement opportunities and transformation initiatives Support demand intake, prioritization, and roadmap planning Contribute to financial planning, cost governance, and solution justification Design & Planning Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and solution design Define end-to-end SAP Finance (RTR) architecture aligned with global templates Design scalable solutions leveraging New GL and S/4HANA Finance capabilities Ensure compliance with Bosch governance, financial regulations, and data protection standards Translate business and master data needs into functional and technical specifications Review and approve design artifacts to ensure quality and architectural alignment Build, Deploy & Transition Provide architectural oversight across development, configuration, and deployment Configure SAP FI/CO modules or guide configuration teams where required Collaborate with development teams for high-quality solution delivery Plan and oversee testing activities (SIT, UAT) aligned with Bosch release standards Support data migration, cleansing, and conversion activities Drive documentation, training materials, and knowledge transfer Run & Operate Ensure smooth transition to support teams and stable operations Support issue resolution, root-cause analysis, and stabilization efforts Ensure compliance with SLAs and operational frameworks Optimization & Continuous Improvement Drive finance process standardization and global template improvements Identify automation and optimization opportunities Support continuous evolution of SAP Finance capabilities and landscape #LI-AD1 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related discipline SAP R2R (Recor-to-Report) experience , including full lifecycle in SAP S/4HANA implementation and/or rollouts SAP FI: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (FI-AA) SAP CO: Cost Center Accounting, Product Costing, and Profitability Analysis (COPA) SAP S/4HANA Finance and New GL, including financial closing processes (month-end, year-end), multi-currency, and statutory reporting Additional skills/experience preferred Knowledge of S/4HANA Warranty Management, including claims processing, accruals, and financial settlement, Understanding of aftermarket/service processes with revenue recognition, contract billing, and deferred revenue concepts Exposure to profitability analysis (COPA) and integration with FI-AR/GL for financial visibility across service and spare parts Experience with Asset Accounting (FI-AA) and WBS (Project Systems), including capitalization, settlement, and integration with R2R.
