Join us and become a key architect of innovative ASICs, where your expertise directly influences the performance and reliability of tomorrow's vehicles. In this position, you design and develop high-performance analog and mixed-signal circuits for complex Automotive ASICs, specifically for electrification and smart power applications. You own the complete development flow, from specification and architecture definition to implementation, verification, characterization, and product release. You analyze and optimize analog architectures regarding performance, robustness, quality, cost, and manufacturability, ensuring first-class results. You also provide technical leadership for critical circuit blocks and actively contribute to system and product architecture decisions. In close collaboration with layout, verification, test, product engineering, and application teams, you ensure first-pass silicon success and support ASIC qualification as well as problem-solving throughout the entire product lifecycle. You identify, analyze, and mitigate design risks related to functionality, reliability, EMC, and ESD robustness. Simultaneously, you technically coach junior engineers and actively promote knowledge sharing and best practice development. Last but not least, you collaborate with international development teams, customers, and cross-functional stakeholders, actively contributing to innovation activities, methodology improvements, and the shaping of future automotive semiconductor technologies. Education: completed university studies in electrical engineering, microelectronics, physics or a comparable subject Experience and Knowledge: several years of proven experience in analog or mixed-signal ASIC design for automotive or industrial applications; strong expertise in the design and verification of analog building blocks such as LDOs, Buck/Boost Converters, Gate Driver Circuits (MOSFET, SiC, GaN), Valve Drivers, Current and Voltage References, Protection and Monitoring Circuits; profound understanding of semiconductor devices, analog integrated circuit design and system interactions; extensive experience with Cadence Virtuoso and analog/mixed-signal design flows; strong laboratory characterization, debugging and failure analysis skills; experience in behavioral modeling (Verilog-A, Verilog-AMS or comparable); good understanding of ESD, EMC, reliability and automotive quality requirements; experience with Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and automotive development processes is a strong advantage; knowledge of electrified and automated driving applications is beneficial Personality and Working Practice: you collaborate effectively within teams and communicate complex technical concepts clearly and understandably; you readily take ownership and drive critical developments independently; your working style is structured, results-oriented, and you approach tasks proactively; you precisely analyze complex problems and find effective solutions, which you successfully implement across interdisciplinary teams Languages: business fluent in written and spoken English; German language skills are a plus Application deadline up to and including 26th of August 2026.
