Description

The Ministry of Public Works and Spatial Planning is the Executing Agency of this Project and now wishes to procure consultancy services to develop a Public Education and awareness Strategy and Action Plan.

The objective of the consultancy is to develop and implement a Public Education and Awareness Strategy and Action Plan to improve community understanding, trust, and response to Early Warnings and Alerts in Suriname. The strategy should ensure inclusive, culturally appropriate, and multilingual communication tailored to the needs of vulnerable groups and local communities. One (1) hard copy of the Expressions of Interest must be received at the first address below no later than 03:30 pm (Suriname Time) on Friday, July 16, 2026 and one electronic copy must be sent simultaneously to CDB at the second email address below. The sealed envelope containing each submission should include the name and address of the applicant and shall be clearly marked “Expression of Interest – Consultancy Services to develop a Public Education and awareness Strategy and Action Plan”.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a responsive technical, financial or procurement submission based on the source documents.
• Deliver the services, goods, research, analysis or advisory outputs requested by the contracting organization.
• Coordinate with the client team on timelines, reporting, quality assurance and final deliverables.

How To Apply

• The duration of the assignment is expected to span a period of twelve (12) months, with a total level of effort of up to six (6) staff-months. The Ministry of Public Works and Spatial Planning now invites interested eligible consulting firms to submit Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the provision of these consultancy services.
• Interested consultant teams are required to submit their Expression of Interest using the “EOI Consulting Firms template” and can be made available upon request by contacting Address 1 below.
• All information must be submitted in English. Further information may be obtained from the first address below between 8:00 am and 3:00 pm hours Monday to Friday.
