Description
IMO is looking for a project focused Metallurgist to jion our team. Key Responsibilities – Manage metallurgical projects, ranging from testwork programs, due diligences or involvement with study management. Provide a high level of customer service to clients, both internally and externally. Creating and maintaining strong relationships with personnel, external suppliers, consultants, contractors and other key stakeholders through regular and effective communication. Maintain a high level of communication with the lead metallurgist to completely understand and clarify the scope of work and project data interpretation. (i.e. Project kick-off meetings) Take personal ownership and accountability for all aspects of project data management, folder management, collation and manipulation throughout project delivery. Ensure Quality Control Systems are adhered to at all times. To be successful you will have: Degree in Extractive Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or similar. Experience with some metallurgical commodities and unit operations. Strong written communication and verbal skills. Effective planning and time management skills. Effective project management skills.
