As part of a newly established Marketing & Recruitment operating model, our Business Partnering team sits at the centre of strategic decision-making, helping faculties, research institutes and service divisions connect organisational priorities with meaningful marketing and recruitment outcomes. Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity This is an influential, strategic partnering role working closely with senior leaders, faculty leadership teams and key stakeholders to translate organisational priorities into integrated marketing and recruitment plans. Rather than delivering campaigns directly, you will help shape direction, set priorities, facilitate planning and ensure the University's marketing and recruitment investment delivers the greatest impact. You'll be a trusted adviser, connecting your portfolio to a central hub of marketing, brand, digital, content, recruitment and communications expertise. Through evidence-based planning, stakeholder engagement and strategic advisory work, you'll help drive sustainable student recruitment and experience, strengthen reputation, and support research, innovation and community impact. In this newly established team and function, we are recruiting multiple Marketing & Recruitment Business Partners to support portfolios across the University. These portfolios are: Arts & Education Business & Law Engineering and Design Medical Health Sciences, FMHS (appointed) Science Campus Experience Research and Innovation Education Large-Scale Research Institutes (LSRIs) Find out more about the ways we are transforming how we engage with our internal and external audiences across our Marketing, Recruitment, Communications and Engagement functions. This role offers a rare opportunity to influence outcomes at scale while remaining connected to the people and communities your work supports. Key areas of focus include: Developing and maintaining integrated annual marketing and recruitment plans for assigned portfolios Translating University and portfolio strategies into clear, prioritised objectives Partnering with Deans, senior leaders and professional services stakeholders to align priorities and outcomes Providing strategic marketing and recruitment advice informed by evidence, insight and best practice Managing demand, prioritisation and briefing processes into the Marketing & Recruitment Hub Identifying opportunities for collaboration and shared solutions across portfolios Supporting governance, planning and continuous improvement activities that enhance effectiveness across the University. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity. The full salary range for this role is $98,700 – $133,500 – Band H. We have a structured salary framework with three zones for those developing into the role (developing), fully effective (target) and contributing beyond what is expected of the role (upper). Appointments are typically made within the target range of $105,701 – $121,900, depending on skills, experience, and internal equity.
