Role Description The Human Resources Manager will oversee all core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and compliance with labor regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and implementing HR policies, managing HR records, coordinating training and development initiatives, and supporting managers in workforce planning and talent retention. The role involves handling payroll and benefits administration in collaboration with finance, ensuring consistent application of company policies, and promoting a positive, inclusive work culture. The Human Resources Manager will also contribute to organizational development by identifying process improvements, supporting change management, and aligning HR initiatives with business goals. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos State, Nigeria. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong human resources management skills, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations. Candidates should possess skills in HR policy development, compliance with labor laws, and handling disciplinary and grievance procedures. Candidates should possess organizational and administrative skills, including HR record-keeping, payroll coordination, and benefits administration. Candidates should possess communication and interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution, negotiation, and the ability to work with diverse teams. Candidates should possess skills in training and development, coaching, and supporting managers with leadership and team-building efforts. Relevant bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field; professional HR certification e.g., CIPM, SHRM, CIPD is an advantage. Proven experience in an HR management or senior HR generalist role, preferably within engineering, technology, or related industries. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information responsibly and use HR software and MS Office tools effectively.
