Description
Job Summary As the General Manager Plant / Factory HR, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for all human resources activities within the plant environment. Responsibilities Develop and execute plant HR strategies covering workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, succession planning, employee engagement, and talent development. Lead industrial and employee relations activities, including grievance management, disciplinary processes, labour matters, and engagement with relevant stakeholders. Partner with plant leadership to optimize manpower utilization, productivity, organizational structure, and workforce costs in line with operational requirements. Ensure compliance with labour laws, HR policies, HSE requirements, and regulatory standards while maintaining effective HR controls, records, and reporting. Lead and develop the plant HR team while driving performance culture, change management, employee development, and continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's Degree is an added advantage. Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, with significant experience managing HR operations within a manufacturing, plant, mining, or heavy industrial environment. Professional certification such as CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent is highly desirable. Strong expertise in plant HR operations, industrial relations, workforce planning, performance management, labour compliance, and organizational development. Excellent leadership, negotiation, conflict resolution, stakeholder management, and strategic decision-making skills.
