The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the Company's financial management, budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, cash flow, and compliance functions, while providing strategic financial guidance to support business growth and operational efficiency. Min Qualification: Masters Experience Level: Senior level Experience Length: 4 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time – 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Kampala, Uganda. · Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s goals and objectives. · Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with department heads. · Conduct financial analysis and modeling to provide data-driven insights for strategic planning. · Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local regulations and accounting standards. · Review and analyze financial reports, providing insights on trends, variances, and potential risks. · Oversee tax planning, compliance, and filing for all company entities, ensuring adherence to tax laws. · Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to ensure sufficient funds for operations and investments. · Monitor and optimize the company’s capital structure, managing relationships with banks and other financial institutions. · Implement strategies to minimize costs, maximize efficiency, and support growth initiatives. · Develop and maintain a strong internal control framework to safeguard company assets. · Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures. · Oversee internal and external audit processes, addressing any issues or recommendations. · Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. · Set goals and KPIs for finance team members, ensuring alignment with departmental objectives. · Conduct regular performance reviews and identify training needs to support team growth. · Identify and implement process improvements to increase the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations. · Oversee the selection and implementation of financial software and tools as required. · Work closely with IT and other departments to automate processes and enhance data integrity. · Serve as a key point of contact for finance-related matters across departments and with external partners. · Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and recommendations to the executive team and stakeholders. · Provide financial insights and support for strategic initiatives, investments, and expansion…
