This role is designed for an educator who is passionate about the science of reading and can bridge the gap between early literacy and advanced linguistic mastery. You will be responsible for guiding students from their first letter sounds Age 4 through to complex morphology and etymology Age 13. Core Responsibilities Instructional Delivery: Teach systematic, synthetic phonics to Early Years and Key Stage 1, ensuring a solid foundation in the 44 phonemes of the English language. Curriculum Adaptation: Transition older students Ages 9–13 from basic decoding to advanced spelling rules, syllabication, and the study of Greek and Latin roots. Assessment & Tracking: Conduct regular diagnostic assessments to identify gaps in phonemic awareness and implement targeted intervention plans.
