Description
As a Commercial Buyer, you will play a key role in shaping Bosch's sourcing strategy and ensuring a resilient and competitive supply base. Working in an international environment, you will collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to drive business success, support new product launches, and contribute to sustainable growth. Your contribution to something big: Developing and implementing category and sourcing strategies for assigned material groups. Analyzing market and supplier data to identify opportunities for consolidation, standardization, and cost optimization. Managing supplier relationships and negotiating commercial agreements to achieve business objectives. Securing supplier capacities for new projects and ensuring readiness to support future business demand. Driving initiatives related to supply chain resilience, risk mitigation, and supply continuity. Supporting the resolution of material shortages and supply challenges in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Leading cross-functional projects involving purchasing, engineering, logistics, quality, and manufacturing teams. Managing stakeholder relationships at different organizational levels and influencing strategic procurement decisions. Monitoring procurement market trends and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and value creation. What distinguishes you: Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related field. Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in Purchasing, Strategic Procurement, Category Management, or Supply Chain Management. Experience working in an international environment and managing supplier relationships. Know-how Strong understanding of category management, sourcing strategies, supplier management, and procurement processes. Experience in supplier negotiations, cost optimization initiatives, and risk management. Strong analytical skills with the ability to transform data into actionable business decisions. Knowledge of supply chain and manufacturing environments is considered an advantage. Languages Fluent English skills, written and spoken. German language skills are a plus.
