Description

We are seeking a competent and fluent Chinese Language Translator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating effective communication between Chinese-speaking personnel and local employees, as well as translating documents and information accurately between Chinese and English. Key Responsibilities Provide accurate interpretation between Chinese-speaking and English-speaking employees. Translate documents, reports, instructions, emails, and other company materials from Chinese to English and vice versa. Assist during meetings, training sessions, interviews, and official engagements where translation is required. Facilitate clear communication between management, Chinese expatriates, and local staff. Ensure that translated information retains the correct meaning, context, and professional tone. Assist Chinese-speaking personnel with day-to-day communication and administrative activities. Maintain confidentiality of company information and sensitive documents. Support management and other departments with translation and interpretation duties as required. Requirements Fluency in both Chinese Mandarin and English, with strong speaking, reading, and writing abilities. Minimum of 2 years relevant experience as a Chinese Translator/Interpreter is preferred. A degree, diploma, or relevant qualification in Chinese Language, Linguistics, Translation, International Relations, or a related field is an advantage. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to translate technical and workplace terminology accurately. Good understanding of Chinese and Nigerian workplace cultures. Ability to work effectively with people from different cultural backgrounds. Must be reliable, organized, and able to maintain confidentiality. Added Advantage Experience working in a manufacturing, engineering, construction, recycling, logistics, or industrial environment will be an advantage. What We Offer Competitive salary.
