Join our eBike Software Development team and help bring Artificial Intelligence into everyday engineering. Working closely with firmware, hardware, and mechanical engineers, you will turn real engineering challenges into AI-powered tools that simplify development, automate repetitive tasks, and improve engineering workflows.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Develop AI-powered engineering assistants: Build chatbots that help hardware and mechanical engineers create and improve Python scripts for automation and data analysis.
Build AI coding companions: Develop AI agents that support firmware developers throughout the software development lifecycle, from code understanding and implementation to debugging, documentation, and test generation.
Automate engineering workflows: Connect LLMs, Python scripts, APIs, and tools such as n8n to streamline engineering processes.
Explore AI technologies: Experiment with LLMs, prompt engineering, tool calling, and AI agents to develop solutions tailored to engineering needs.
Integrate engineering knowledge: Leverage technical documentation and software repositories to provide context-aware assistance.
Validate and improve solutions: Test prototypes with engineers, evaluate their effectiveness, and refine them into reliable, practical tools.
Qualifications
What distinguishes you?
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
Experience
Academic or personal projects involving programming, AI, software development, or automation.
Practical experience is welcome, but professional experience is not required.
Know-how
Basic Python programming skills and understanding of software development fundamentals.
Interest in Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, and AI-assisted software development.
Familiarity with APIs, Git, n8n, and AI development tools is an advantage.
Interest in embedded software development is a plus.
Languages
Good written and spoken English skills for collaboration in an international engineering environment.
Working Style and Methods
