About the role: Avery Dennison is looking for a motivated individual to join our facilities team in Northeast Ohio as a Facilities Technician III. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the operation of our regional locations and work on a variety of projects to assist our employee population. This position operates on a standard 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday schedule. Key Responsibilities: This is a full-time, on-site position located in Mentor, Ohio. Perform general preventive maintenance, repairs, and servicing of building equipment, fixtures, utilities, and grounds without interrupting service or jeopardizing safety. Maintain building security, fire protection systems, and establish day-to-day contact with outside contractors for construction, maintenance, and repair work across multiple trades. Monitor and maintain facility expenses within budget guidelines, review invoices for accuracy, and assist in the development and execution of the Annual Operating Plan. Assist with or lead the development and implementation of environmental, health, and safety programs and training (including emergency response, risk assessments, and job safety analysis) to ensure safe working conditions. Provide responsive facility support across all Northeast Ohio locations, including handling daily operational tasks, moving furniture/equipment, and supporting 24/7 on-call needs as required by business needs. Qualifications: Technical degree or equivalent required, with licensing (e.g., forklift) as needed. 8+ years of relevant experience in facilities maintenance, project coordination, and office services, demonstrating expertise in a specialty field. Broad technical knowledge of facilities operating systems, mechanical aptitude, and advanced experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and local fire safety codes preferred. Self-directed worker displaying strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to resolve advanced technical issues independently. Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills (such as Google suite and function-specific software), with the ability to work flexible hours and overtime to meet position requirements. Pay Transparency: The salary range for this position is $59,625 – $89,040 / year. The hiring base salary range above represents what Avery Dennison reasonably expects to pay for this position as of the date of this posting. Actual salaries will vary within the range, and in some circumstances may be above or below the range, based on various factors including but not limited to a candidate’s relevant skills, experience, education and training, and location, as well as the job scope and complexity, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel required for the position, which may change depending on the candidate pool.
