Description
As a Program Manager at NielsenIQ, you will be part of this organizational transformation as you drive and directly oversee the largest, most complex programs in buy technology. You will not only lead complex, high-visibility initiatives throughout the project lifecycle, but will also lead a team of program managers responsible for program execution. Your team’s projects will cut across time zones, clients, and technologies and it is your job to motivate, allocate work, manage execution, and communicate to senior stakeholders. RESPONSIBILITIES: Drive the end-to-end execution of program deliverables and tracking of program health Define and track program milestones, timelines, and deployment plans Provide coaching to a team of up to 2-3 project managers Manage program scope (demand intake, documentation, change control, communication) Act as the face of the program and communicate progress to upper management and stakeholders Act as liaison for all facets of the program and pull people together to make decisions (Product, Operations, Technology, Commercial, Data Science, Client Deployment, Marketing, Sales) throughout the project Facilitate cross-team prioritization between Stakeholders and Technology teams in order to create release plans and continue to manage throughout the program lifecycle Ensure business objectives are clearly defined and that the program meets them Adhere to standard program management processes, best practices, and tools to the organization, including architecture, cybersecurity, and quality Facilitate conversations to ensure Cross Functional Team Dependencies are tracked, identifying gaps, and mitigating or escalating risks Track and communicate program objectives and progress (Program Status, Initiative level Jira Boards, and Project Plans) Facilitate Scrum of Scrum meetings, execute release level retrospectives, as required Track and ensure prompt resolution of issues Execute production readiness (Sign-offs & Documentation) Communicate agile team metrics & drive compliance Execute production and commercial readiness (Sign-offs, Documentation and Rollout Plans and Execution) Track and report on program financials, including resource planning 10+ years in program and project management or similar role running large projects in operations, technology or engineering Practical experience with agile techniques and methodologies Superior communication skills (interpersonal, verbal, presentation written, email) Proven ability to influence & gain buy-in at multiple levels, across divisions, functions and cultures Comfortable working with senior-level management and virtual teams Ability to prioritize, manage, and deliver on multiple projects simultaneously; highly motivated and able to work against aggressive schedules Strong bias toward action, flexible, resourceful, and able to operate effectively within a dynamic, fast-paced environment You are the glue of a happy, high-performing, cross-functional team Positive attitude, team player, self-starter; takes initiative, ability to work independently Experience configuring and using Jira or similar project tracking software Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or related field Scrum Alliance certifications (i.e. CSM, CSPO, etc.) preferred Our Benefits Flexible working environment Volunteer time off LinkedIn Learning Employee-Assistance-Program (EAP) NIQ may utilize artificial intelligence (AI) tools at various stages of the recruitment process, including résumé screening, candidate assessments, interview scheduling, job matching, communication support, and certain administrative tasks that help streamline workflows.
