Description

The role is for a scientist/data analyst who can manage and analyze research data, develop reproducible workflows, and support teams using data for agricultural, environmental or development research. It bridges statistical analysis, research support and communication of results.

Responsibilities

• Clean, manage and analyze research datasets for agricultural and development projects.
• Develop reproducible analysis workflows, visualizations and technical documentation.
• Support scientists with study design, data quality checks, statistical analysis and interpretation.
• Prepare tables, figures, briefs or reports that translate data into usable evidence.

Requirements / Eligibility

• Degree and experience in statistics, data science, agricultural science, economics, computer science or a related field.
• Strong skills in data analysis tools such as R, Python, STATA, SPSS, SQL or similar platforms.
• Experience handling research datasets and documenting analysis workflows.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary research teams and communicate findings clearly.
