Description
The role will be part of the Bosch Home Comfort SAP ERP IT team , supporting the delivery of standardized and scalable SAP solutions across a global landscape. The candidate will act as a subject matter expert, supporting business requirements, solution design, and global template configuration, ensuring alignment with business needs and Bosch standards. The candidate will work across the end-to-end SAP application lifecycle, including design, build, testing, and deployment of SAP solutions, collaborating with internal and external IT process experts. The role contributes to solution improvements, process standardization, and business–IT alignment, supporting Bosch’s ongoing digital transformation and SAP landscape evolution. Key Responsibilities Strategy & Conceptualization: Align SAP solutions with business and IT strategy Identify business opportunities, challenges, and improvement areas Develop business cases and conduct feasibility studies Manage demand intake, portfolio prioritization, and roadmap planning Identify and engage key stakeholders across business and IT Support budgeting, funding, and cost planning activities Design & Planning: Lead requirements gathering, analysis, and solution evaluation Define end-to-end SAP solution architecture aligned with global templates Drive UX/UI design to enhance user experience and adoption Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory requirements Support project planning, scoping, and execution Participate in vendor selection and procurement processes Build, Deploy & Transition: Provide architectural oversight for development, testing, and deployment activities Ensure alignment with SAP best practices and enterprise standards Support quality assurance, User Acceptance testing and successful release to production Drive knowledge transfer and documentation, aligned to governance standards Run & Operate: Drive Service Request Management and delivery Support root cause analysis and continuous stabilization efforts Ensure alignment with operational support models and SLAs Optimization & Continuous Improvement: Monitor system & solution performance and capacity reviews Gather user feedback and drive feature enhancements Identify and execute cost optimization opportunities Phase-Out & Decommissioning: Develop and execute phase-out strategies for legacy SAP systems Plan and manage system decommissioning activities Ensure effective communication with stakeholders and users Oversee data migration, retention, and archiving Conduct post go-live and post-decommissioning reviews Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Hands-on experience in SAP MM, WM, and EWM (specifically focusing on S/4HANA implementations or rollouts). Experience participating in lifecycle SAP implementations or large-scale rollouts. Proven integration experience across SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, FI, QM), including IDoc/API-based integration with external warehouse systems, MES, and automation platforms Experience in global template design and multi-site deployments Experience in solution roadmaps, cost-benefit analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives Strong analytical and solution design capability with understanding of inventory strategies, data structures, and ability to translate business requirements into optimized logistics solutions Inventory Management (IM): goods movements, stock control, physical inventory Warehouse Management (WM/EWM): inbound, outbound, internal processes, picking, put-away, RF/mobile execution.
